This very large abstract triptych, measuring 72 x 72 inches, is distinguished by its minimalist aesthetic and strong material presence. The work is dominated by a deep matte black, whose fully textured surface features a dense network of cracks on the side panels. The central panel contrasts sharply with the side panels thanks to its regular, parallel grooves, carefully sculpted into the material. The reliefs capture the light and reveal numerous metallic silver (Ag) reflections, creating a dialogue between shadow and light. Depending on the viewing angle, this central section seems to vibrate and come alive, lending an architectural dimension to the work. The scene could evoke the emergence of electromagnetic and luminous phenomena within the opaque primordial cosmos. Both understated and monumental, this work explores the themes of time, emergence, transformation, and resilience.
