A large canvas executed entirely in a palette of deep blacks and anthracite grays. The textured background, applied with a palette knife, creates an organic, almost earth-like relief, evoking the surface of frozen water, vitrified lava, or even the cosmic void. Around forty oblong shapes emerge in relief from the matte background. They suggest traces, imprints, footprints, suspended particles, or even fragments of cosmic matter drifting through space, like Oumuamua, the first interstellar object detected to have crossed our solar system in 2017; a phenomenon that has probably occurred more often in history than we realize. Each shape is unique, differing slightly from the others in size and orientation, with a luminous, orange-peel-like interior surface. Their shared orientation generates a powerful sensation of movement and fluidity, while the few detached forms reinforce the impression of natural motion. Both austere and hypnotic, the artwork invites the viewer to explore its multiple textures and construct their own narrative. Ready to hang without a frame thanks to its painted sides.
