 "Dripping," initiated by Janet Sobel in the early 1940s. After seeing Sobel's works at an exhibition of hers at Peggy Guggenheim's gallery in New York, Jackson Pollock adopted this technique soon after and made it his trademark, somewhat controversially, with Time magazine dubbing him "Jack the Dripper" in 1956...
 
 The technique creates very dynamic and unique paintings. You either love it... or you don't!
